Beside a fire on the beach, under a sky breaking into colors, we felt and heard the pounding heartbeat of our ancient home. Was it fantasy, this ocean within us, bound by voluptuous skin, as deep and unfathomable as our desires? Searching for answers, we explored the catacombs that hid our dreams. In the depth of these dark waters we lingered on the warmth of a sweet salty kiss. And held our breaths longing for what was beyond our grasp but gripping each other as if the sand might wash away beneath us. Then for an instant – in a light second of bliss – the shorelines of demarcation lost all meaning and we danced on the sand like newborn fish to the rhythm of our impending birth.
